CAMELOD6

all you need is some D6es

“For a long time the human lands have been divided by hatred and conflict. Every town, village and tribe stood for itself, ruled by petty nobles and warlords. This changed fifty years ago, when the young chieftain Uther of the Pendragon tribe made pacts with the dwarves of the mountains and the elves of the forests. Together they vanquished the evil orcs, bandits and roaming undead plaguing the lands, building a realm of peace and justice. Soon all the human settlements and tribes pledged their power to Uther, who became first king of the realm that should now forevermore be known as the kingdom of Camelot."

Greetings everyone, and welcome to Camelod6!

These rules were created on a rainy summer afternoon to bring two young boys into the amazing hobby that is roleplaying. Since they were familiar with some of the classic King Arthur tales I chose to combine Arthurian mythology with more classical fantasy elements and create a fairly simple rulesystem – a rulesystem based on the D6, the die that is most familiar to people – to accompany it.
These rules however can be used with most fantasy settings. They are especially well suited for kids and other beginners, people do not have too much experience with roleplaying and similar games.
The rules should be easily adaptable if a Gamemaster wishes to add a bit of depth to them as his players gain confidence and are very well suited as an “initiation – rulesystem” before the group is led to more complex games.

Please feel free to contact me with any feedback and questions you might have, and, as always, happy gaming!

Hi Charles!
Thank you for your suggestion. Which such a short document we feel that print on demand wouldn't make too much sense. You are more than welcome to print out your own version and share it with friends/family!

The Knight/Dark Knight has an Armour value of 4 and 5(with shield), as the game didn't state if NPC uses the same system as PC, so I assume I need to roll a D6 and I can't cause damage at all lols. Anyway, my armour is high so it can't hit me as well..as of this comment, I have been battling for 7 rounds lol

Do NPCS double their muscle to get a health score or do they only use muscle as is for health?

If the NPC stat doesn't include a specific number for health (as the one for the Wight does) the NPC simply has double their muscle as their health pool. An Orc for instance would have eight health, because their Muscle is four.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
