i love what the creator is doing with this project. bringing some sci-fi to the Shadowdark Game system! i like the idea that ships are characters with class's related to the ship’s overall role in the setting (like the salvaging "Junker"! complete with talents the ship gets as it improves over a campaign. i cant wait to see what new ideas come from mr. beames! I would love to see original classes too related to the technical aspects of a space opera setting!

This is a great little suppliment for the GM on the go! The storyhooks at the end are especially helpful in portraying how a situation might play out with each race and the broader world, while still being setting flexible!

i have not had the chance to use this class yet, but it reads well. its a much appreciated class to have in dnd, allowing the game to truely model ANY campaign, even low magic ones! well worth the money!

I havent had the chance to play this game but boy does it read well. the mechanic is clear enough that it can be extrapolated that it would play really well! I like how injuries are just negative dice to your dice pool. i would love to use this game for publishing fan projects, this game has some serious potential, and would scale up in conplexity with easy for game where you want to create more intricate characteristics for things like communities or other campaign staples!
You should check this out, you wont be disappointed!

This is a nice introduction to the D6 system popularized by West End Games' Star Wars and the Open D6 games that followed. taking inspiration from MiniSix, Freeform Universal (FU) and many others, its clear that a lot of thought went into creating a manual that is up to date with current trends and honors the original system.
I especially like how creating the game concepts involve the whole table coming up with a few of every character's skills. I also like how players roll all the dice in this iteration of the D6 system.
Its a terrific free product and would make a great paid product as well. Definitely worth checking out!

This is a great looking RPG, giving a unique feeling of rebuilding and unique approach to the apocalypse. Legacy has everything I love about Apocalypse World and adds a system for time passing in the form of its legacy mechanic which I have always loved in games that have them. Legacy is worth grabbing and giving a shot at any table that likes post apocalypse stories or the apocalypse game mechanic.

I didn't have much to go on from the preview, but the description on the first page mentioning traveller as inspiration sold me on picking this gem up! While Dungeon World takes the AW engine in a direction closer in line with dungeons and dragons, I feel Uncharted Worlds stays closer to the design of apocalypse world, which I love. But at the same time it takes the effort to create new moves that really drive towards the core of what you want in a space opera game.
I'm thoroughly impressed and plan to use this game for some campaigns in recently released or soon to be sci-fi video game properties...

This guide is amazing!!! I picked it up free 99 and read through it and had to go back and pay some coin for this gem!
In the familiar style of most other Pathfinder class guides out there, this manual goes through telling you what is best [blue], fair [green or black] and worst [red] for a character built as a commoner in a campaign that focuses on playing commoners in a legitimate and serious manner. it ha slots of funny writing too and I found myself laughing a few times through out. This guide also gives you some real ideas as GM for what NPC commoners might do to maximize their survival.
I'm pretty much fatigued on playing d20 games, but this book has renewed my interest in delving into pathfinder for something fresh to do with the system! Highly recommend!

This article gave me some ideas for using GM intrusions in just about any game. From Fate's aspect compels to simply ignoring the dice and playing it by ear in d20 games, this is a helpful little glimmer into being a better narrator overall!

This was a great example of a n Event! Worth every penny, either as an example for your own events or as a source for a civil war campaign.

This new edition i have high hopes for, its of increadable quality and the rules changes looks like they are making a serious effort to fill in the "character behind the pilot" as it were. the rules seem pretty straight forward and they took a lot of what makes battletech feel the way it does and wrote it into the way the roleplaying rules play.
My only gripe is that the the rules seem to focus on infantryman level conflict. this could just be the focus of the quickstart however, but i was hoping to see more on what a mechwarrior, aerospace pilot or infantryman does when he's not fighting the good fight with the battletech warfare rules. things like indepth sneaking/espionage rules; social conflcits with ones superiors or other organizations responsible for your unit or living up the life of an explorer in the wilds [call it shore leave]. i suspect these things are in the main rules for purchase, but it would have been pretty cool to see some of those mechanics mixed into this quick start along with the infantry fighting.
this is worth downloading, and i'm very tempted to find the other game mechanics in the main rule book... give this one a read!
