Not exactly what I was expecting, but I could see how some people would like it. I guess I'm more meat and potatoes, but if you like quiche then this is the book for you.

QUALITY: Disappointing

VALUE: Disappointed
I'm sorry it wasn't what you were expecting. However, I'm not sure how you could have developed a false expectation about the content. Glinda of Oz is listed in the E-book section of RPGnow, rather than the d20 section because it is primarily an e-book, not a gaming supplement. The first sentence of the advertisement states that it is the original story written by Frank Baum with some d20 content added. The advertising text states exactly what is in the book. Also, the demo clearly shows that it is the full story as written by Baum with some d20 stats added for Glinda, the Spider King, and a few magic items. So I'm not sure what could have caused you to expect more. If you would like a more "crunchy" Oz book, please check back with us in a few months. We have a project like that in the works right now. Again, I apologize for any misunderstanding about the content. I?ll add a little more information to the product description to make it clear that Glinda of Oz is a short novel (edited to read like a DnD novel) with a few pages of d20 game statistics covering the major characters and items in the story. I hope no one else has any misunderstandings about the content of this e-book.

The Taverner's Trusty Tome
Publisher: Dark Quest Games
by Joel P. [Verified Purchaser]

If the devil's in the details, then this product has Asmodeus inside it somewhere. A DM should have a copy of this by their side at all times to add some spice into the inevitable bar scenes that come up in gaming. Want to know why your fighter is seeing two orcs when he just got done downing 10 pints of ale? This has the answer for you. The only thing missing is the hangover!
