This is well worth every penny you spend. Such a varied campaign with flavour and detail oozing out of it. The 5e version (individual files per each of the 12 chapters) if just as good.

I got this to run for some quite jaded players of long standing. Although it has requires a bit of "copy and paste" for the NPC's (the appendix of all the NPCs is alphabetical, rather than "as you meet them", which is a pain), the players are really enjoying it, and they feel they actually have choice, with their choice affect the outcomes not just of the situation they are in, but the overall direction of the game. Then side-quests for second characters? How many sessions are in here? This is a major bargain! Finally, being free of a overall campaign setting, you can drop this into any world with a big enough space, or create a world around it.

This was the first ever D&D campaign I ran, and the group made it through the first 3 adventures before scheduling broke us apart. The story, characters, and adventures all captured my imagination and that of my players. Honestly, I'd buy this just to read it, and I recently pulled it out to reread, and promptly decided I want to run it again, so that's the next campaign I'll be running with my current group in the new year! This is a campaign that requires high levels of trust and communication between players and DM, but if you have that, it's a campaign that leads PCs through an oddysey to remember and talk about for years to come, even from the very 1st level.

Got my book sooner then expected but, the front and back covers seem to have been bent up. This looks like it was done before or during packaging. Don't see how the corners could get folded while in the box. Other then that I am extremely excited to start reading so I can run this. Does seem like a little extra care in packaging could be taken. Would have given 5 stars if it were not for the condition the book was received in

I picked this up a few years ago to run for my group, as $10 for a 700+ page campaign seemed like too good a bargain to miss. I actually ran it with Savage Worlds instead of D&D, but it was pretty easy to convert, and I consider it one of the best campaigns I've ever run.

Holy crap. I purchased and downloded this for a few bucks with minimal expectations. What I got is something that could easily have been sold by Wizards for $50. This a professional-quality, full-blown campaign guide with a well thought-out story, detailed NPCs, maps, etc... I run my campaign in an existing setting of my own (well, my wife's) own creation. Fortunately, this campaign guide also includes suugestions for incorporating this campaign story into your own setting.

I'm really looking forward to getting started with this campaign.

If you're looking for a rich campaign setting for your players, or just want some inspiration for your own campaign, I highly recommend purchasing this guide.

My only wish is that they published a 5E version, but 3.5 will do.

I have just purchased this product and did not know what to expect. Right now I am putting together the first adventures for this campaign and I have to say. It is pretty cool. From the first adventure alone I was given a map with the largest city I have ever used in a D and D game called Gates Pass the cities main features are well developed and it gives you a straight forward adventure to start, but it is quite large and you can use the city itself as a central place to launch smaller campaigns you already own and have everything lead back to the city afterwords to get to the next point which is the burning forest.
