Publisher: 93 Games Studio

Everytown This setting is a ready-made, highly customizable locale for a Twilight: 2013 Campaign.

As written, the locations of Everytown are purposely named by their function and the NPCs called by their trade or position in the town rather than given names so the GM can easily modify them to reflect the locale and society they choose for their campaign. The intent is to maximize utility for every group playing Twilight: 2013, while retaining a plausible feel of a community of survivors that has survived the Last Year relatively intact.

Everytown is the root and trunk of a tree that, it is hoped, will bear much adventuring fruit for players. The follow-on scenarios connected to Everytown will be branches of that tree, usable on their own if grafted into another campaign, but adding adventure to the Everytown setting.

Enjoy!

Tomlinson grimaced as he cocked his head sideways, trying to shelter his face from the bitter wind that clawed through his light poncho and filthy fatigues. He reached one hand up to close one nostril and blew snot from his nose, overpressure making his ears pop painfully. He closed his eyes in exhausted irritation, knowing he hadn't blown the snot clear of his weapon.

"Look sharp," the sergeant barked, for about the millionth goddamn time.

The batteries for their NVG's had crapped out about mile three hundred of the long march and Tomlinson long since given up on trying to peer into the pre-dawn darkness. Besides, Crawford would let him know when he really needed to be on the look out for hostiles; the Cajun had a nose for trouble.

Still, knowing the sergeant wouldn't be satisfied without some form of response, Tomlinson shuffled around so the sergeant could see his legs moving and think he'd been obeyed. Sarge claimed there was a village out here somewhere, but just now Tomlinson could give a shit. He had his suspicions that the sergeant was lying; that they hadn't received orders from company command when the general retreat started, that they were entirely on their own. He was, however, absolutely sure that only some degree of discipline would get them through this, and if Sarge wanted that responsibility, he was welcome to it.

Crawford took his foot off the gas, cluing Tomlinson that he needed to be looking around. He dutifully peered into the growing dawn and made out a cluster of buildings lining the road ahead. There was a river between the village and their position, a destroyed or washed-out bridge sagging into the shallow flow.

"This is it," Tomlinson heard the sergeant mutter through the open turret ring.
"How do you know?" Hernandez asked from the back seat.

"'Cause it's the only place on the map this distance from the MLR.," the sergeant grated in his best ‘stop asking me stupid questions' voice.

"What's it called?" Hernandez asked.

"It's called Everytown, FNG," Crawford snapped.

"No it ain't."

Tomlinson grinned, knowing the looks Hernandez was getting. Aside from the stupidity of the argument, Crawford had a low-grade hate for the young Mexican. Tomlinson hadn't bothered to find out why.

"What he means, Hernandez, is that it's just like every other F-ing town we've passed through: That it ain't home," Sarge explained though gritted teeth, "Now shut the hell up and come with me. Tomlinson, you're covering from here. Someone wake Paulson up. I'm gonna see if we can't find a local."

Tudor House 30mm Papercraft Model

http://roleplayingtips.rpgnow.com/product_info.php?products_id=79710

Publisher: Dave Graffam Models

TUDOR HOUSE

This is 30mm-scale terrain for wargaming, skirmish games, dioramas, roleplaying games, model railroads, class projects or just for fun. Assembly is quick and easy, requiring just 4 sheets of cardstock, a sharp hobby knife and ordinary paper glue.

This model will work great as a shop, pub, house, government office, hostel, barracks, tavern and many other sorts of fantasy or medieval buildings. These sorts of buildings can still be found in modern day, and would also be suitable for gaming in Napoleonic times, World War I and World War II.

Full instructions are provided, including printing tips and advice for printing at various popular gaming and model railroad scales. This file is 200dpi, which will look great when printed at full size without requiring large file sizes. You'll need Adobe Acrobat Reader 7.0 or later to view these files.

SINGLE LAYERED FILES: The PDFs included in this model are single-layered, offering just one appearance, as seen below. (This is mentioned because many of Dave Graffam Model's products are multi-layered PDFs that provide a wide selection of optional layers. However, multi-layered files aren't always convenient, and so this Tudor House is offered as a specially-priced stand-alone model.)

Martial Cultures: The Ikanoi

Publisher: Chaotic Shiny Productions

The people of Ice and Legend are a proud clan of warriors, healers and sages. Each one is guided by an ancestor, a member of the First Tribe who drove back the winds and tamed the tundra. But the Ikanoi are not the only inhabitants of this harsh landscape; mischievious and malicious snow sprites haunt the wastes, sowing chaos in their wake.

Martial Cultures: the Ikanoi is full of all the information you need to add the Ikanoi to your game. Lean about Ikanikon folklore, and the ancestors and snow sprites who populate it. Find your Ikanikon zodiac sign, or find out what happens when a bargain with the snow sprites goes wrong.

The first tribe was more than just warriors, and Martial Cultures: The Ikanoi has details about the other guiding ancestors on whom adventurers call for guidance, as well as ancestor feats. There are also descriptions of the snow sprites, and a detailed skill challenge that you can drop into your game. Can your players outwit wily Kero, or trick Phanax into giving up his secrets?

There's also more alternate class features, an original Ikanikon folktale, advice for good or evil Ikanoi, and example adventurers that you can easily turn into NPCs.

The crunch is 4e D&D, but the fluff will fit any system, and there's a whole lot of it.

When you buy Martial Cultures: the Ikanoi you get:

A fully bookmarked ebook with over 25 pages of cultural information, background benefits, NPCs, feats, and power

Power cards for each of the new utility powers in the book

A printer-friendly version of the pdf

Our money-back guaranty - not satisfied with the book? Let us know within 30 days and we'll refund your money.

What can Martial Cultures: the Ikanoi do for me? If you're a DM, it gives you more information on how to add the Ikanoi to your game, as well as a skill challenge for any players passing through Ikanikon territory. You get more in-depth cultural information for your NPCs and more plot hooks for your PCs.

If you're a player, you get more ancestors to choose from, more feats to support them, and more alternate class features. You also get even more ways to distinguish your Ikanikon character, including astrological signs and run-ins with sprites.

MQ2 - Inns & Taverns

http://roleplayingtips.rpgnow.com/product_info.php?products_id=79704

Publisher: Arion Games

The Maelstrom RPG, published in 1984 was a small but popular game, released partly on the success of the Fighting Fantasy books, also from Puffin. Written by Alexander Scott, a teenager at the time, the game soon gathered a loyal following. Despite being in print for only a short time, the game has developed something of a cult following, and the herbal section has inspired many net-based RPG herbals.

Following the first issue of Maelstrom Quarterly in 2009, we can now offer the (somewhat belated) Issue 2. The first Issue dealt with Tournaments, the enjoyment of the Nobility and wealthy, but the second issue looks at the other end of the social scale. Most people in the Tudor world of Maelstrom find their simple pleasures at the bottom of a tankard, and so this issue covers Inns, Taverns, Alehouses and Brothels. With descriptions, layout plans, price lists, slang and even rules for running your own establishment, this guide is a must for the Tudor traveller and businessman alike.

Although written for the Maelstrom RPG, this guide is also useful for any medieval or fantasy RPG that features Taverns and ale.
